Implementation of Fiori tiles (UX) for Bastide
The Bastide project is an implementation of FIORI applications that meet the needs of customers in the medical equipment sales and rental sector by allowing them to track their requests.
Moreover, its installation facilitates the management of users connected to the portal according to their different roles: client, secretary, super validator.
The aim of this project is to make the user experience as simple and understandable as possible in order to make users autonomous: from customers to secretaries to super validators.
The FIORI applications of the Bastide project contain several functionalities:
- Place purchase orders.
- Place rental orders.
- Request quotes.
- Follow-up of purchase and rental requests.
- Monitoring of the rental stock.
The Bastide portal was implemented in FIORI by interfacing with SAP via OData services.

This system is intended for more than 2,000 customers throughout France and will soon be available in Belgium.
The implementation of the project was carried out by the Bastide project team, which includes:
- The AYMAX technical team
- The AYMAX functional team
To meet the critical need, the Bastide project required the use of new technologies in the handling of data from the SAP system and in the management of FIORI applications.
