ECPC, a subsidiary of Consolis in Egypt and a recognized leader in the precast concrete industry, engaged Aymax, as a SAP integrator, to support its SAP Cloud ERP Private (S/4HANA) migration using a Lift & Shift (Brownfield) approach.
The project involved migrating from an SAP S/4HANA on-premise system to a SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environment.
Consolis was already running the latest on-premise version of SAP’s ERP. In alignment with the Group’s cloud migration strategy, the Egyptian entity was also required to transition its SAP environment to the cloud.
The primary objectives of this project were to harmonize the Group’s information systems, leverage the full benefits of cloud technologies, and strengthen infrastructure security, while ensuring a smooth and controlled transition.
This migration was carried out using the RISE with SAP program, enabling an optimized digital transformation, particularly in the management of business contracts.
Key Challenges of the Cloud Migration Project

Data Migration
Data migration was performed with particular care to ensure a fully secure transition, with no loss of information. Strict measures were implemented to guarantee data integrity throughout the process, ensuring optimal continuity of operations.

The transition to SAP S/4HANA Cloud required the migration of all applications, ensuring full compatibility with the new environment. Regarding the migration framework, the client selected RISE with SAP, enabling unified management of licenses, contracts with the integrator, and the hyperscaler, thereby simplifying day-to-day operations.
